The Thinking Hour
For the situation you cannot stop returning to.
You have thought about it alone. You may have talked it through with someone you trust. You may have written notes, weighed options, imagined outcomes, prepared conversations, questioned yourself, defended your position, softened it, hardened it, and gone back to the beginning again.
Still, the situation keeps returning.
The Thinking Hour is a private 60-minute session to interrupt the loop, look at one real situation properly, and identify what needs your attention next.
60 minutes. Private. Focused. One-to-one. £250.
When the mind keeps going round the same track
At first, it may look like a decision, a conversation, a leadership issue, a private pressure point, tension with someone important, or a business situation that should be simple, but somehow is not.
The part you can name is often only the visible problem.
The real issue may sit underneath it.
A boundary.
A truth.
A fear of consequence.
A responsibility that is not fully yours.
A decision you already know, but have not fully admitted.
A pattern you have outgrown.
A conversation that needs to happen at a different level.
That is where the work begins.
What the hour gives you
The Thinking Hour gives you a private interruption to the loop.
We take one situation and look at it from the level where it can finally make more sense.
Sometimes that means seeing that you have been trying to solve the wrong problem.
Sometimes it means realising the next step is smaller, cleaner, and closer than you thought.
Sometimes it means pausing instead of pushing.
Sometimes it means going back to the beginning and seeing the whole situation from a higher vantage point.
The purpose is simple:
to understand what is actually going on, what has been clouding it, and what needs your attention next.
What we do together
You bring one real situation.
I listen carefully, question precisely, reflect what I notice, and challenge where it serves the truth of the situation.
Together, we separate:
- the visible problem from the deeper issue
- fact from interpretation
- responsibility from over-responsibility
- pressure from truth
- urgency from importance
- the old pattern from the current reality
- the noise around the situation from what actually needs attention
This is the part that becomes difficult to do alone, especially when the situation involves people, consequences, reputation, money, loyalty, leadership, family, or a future you care about.
What you leave with
You leave with a clearer understanding of:
what the real issue is
why it keeps circling
what is clouding your view
what belongs to you and what does not
what needs your attention now
what one grounded next step could be
This hour is about seeing the situation clearly enough that you are no longer trapped in the same internal loop.
What changes
Clients often come to me when their mind has been working hard, but the situation still has not settled.
The shift is not always loud. Sometimes it is the moment the mind slows down. Sometimes it is the relief of finally seeing the real issue. Sometimes it is having one clear next step instead of another week of private circling.
This work can help you:
- stop analysing and spinning around the same situation
- come back to the bigger picture
- make important shifts in how you see yourself and the situation
- know what needs your focus next
“My brain stopped analysing and spinning around all the time. It slowed down. I feel inside myself.”

“I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else.”

About Andrea
For three decades I have worked with leaders, founders, senior professionals, private clients, and people carrying decisions, conversations, responsibilities, and private pressure they could not easily take anywhere else.
My work has included senior leadership development, private advisory and mentoring work at executive level, business and life transitions, and work with leaders from more than 80 nationalities across corporate, entrepreneurial, and deeply personal contexts.
I listen for what is being said, what is being protected, what is being avoided, and what the situation is really asking you to see.
My work is calm, precise, and direct.
