A one-day intensive
The Decision Day
Small group
One situation each. One full day.
You leave knowing what the real issue actually is, the decision or a direction you can trust, the order you will do it in, and the first move with a date on it.
Two to six women. Leaders, founders and senior professionals.
Who this room is for
There is something you have to decide.
Sometimes there is a date on it, and the date is coming. Sometimes there is no date at all, and what you have instead is the feeling that you cannot carry on like this much longer.
You have turned the situation over enough times to know roughly where you stand. You have talked it through with the people closest to you. You asked ChatGPT at eleven at night, and it agreed with you.
By now the questions sound more like these:
Those questions come from somewhere. Usually from one of these:
- ✦
An offer, a promotion or a move, with a date on the answer.
- ✦
A restructure, whether it has reached your level or you are the one who has to carry it out.
- ✦
A leadership role that is costing you more than it gives you.
- ✦
A relationship you have to decide about.
- ✦
Selling the business, handing it on, or stepping back from something you built.
- ✦
A renewal in front of you: a contract, a lease, a partnership, another year of the same.
- ✦
Your health, your money, or something at home that has changed what you can carry.
- ✦
A line you drew for yourself a while ago, told nobody about, and the date on it is getting closer.
It does not have to be a crisis. It only has to be something you cannot keep putting off.
The women in this room are leaders, founders and senior professionals. They are used to carrying responsibility, and to being the one everybody else relies on.
Every woman brings one situation of her own, and every woman gets her turn on it.
The room
Sometimes there are two of you. Sometimes three or four. Never more than six.
Small, so that every woman gets proper time on her own situation.
They are senior women, running things, dealing with challenges like yours. When it is your turn, you hear what I see, and you hear what they see.
Some women book together, with a friend or two. Others come knowing nobody, and by the afternoon that has changed.
“I went through it with two of my closest friends. It was a profoundly enjoyable, bonding and in some ways revelatory experience... several very liberating and empowering moments that perhaps wouldn't have happened, were it not for Andrea and the tasks and the safe encouraging space.”
Eva“Andrea was great at creating an environment of trust which helped everyone open up and made our work together productive.”
PauliThe day, in four steps
The real issue
We look at your situation from every angle. What is really going on? What has it already cost you?
And what are you actually deciding, because it is often not the thing you came in with.
The choice point
We put your choices side by side, including the ones you have probably not counted yet. Most women arrive with two or three. Usually there are more, and finding the ones you cannot see is a large part of what I do.
Then we look at each one. Which are you choosing out of fear, and which do you actually want? What are you not willing to lose? And what might your life look like on the other side of it?
The first move
You make the decision. Then we build the plan around it: what you will do, in what order, and when.
The first thing is ready before you leave, with a date on it.
The pull-back plan
A few days later the doubt arrives. You wonder whether you got it right, or you find a reason not to do the first thing yet.
We talk about that before you leave, so you know it is coming and you know what to do when it does.
How the day runs
Before the day
When you book, I send you a questionnaire. Your answers are how I know your situation before we meet, so no part of the day is spent on me catching up.
The start
We start with the situations. Each of you says briefly what she has brought, and then the work begins.
The hours
Seven hours live on Zoom. We do the work on the call, together, on the day. An hour of that is breaks: lunch, and a proper pause in the afternoon.
What you keep
Your decision, your plan and your first move, written down as we go and yours to take away.
The Follow-Through
The day is not the end of it. You have me for four weeks afterwards. We stay in a WhatsApp group together. Whatever comes up while you are carrying out your decision, you write it there and I answer.
The Closing Hour
At the end of those four weeks we meet for an hour. We look at what has changed and sort out what is still stuck. You get that date when you book, so both days are in your diary from the start.
The day is online
What you share is up to you
You bring as much of your situation into the room as you want to bring.
Names, places and numbers can stay with you.
I do need the whole story, and that is what the questionnaire is for. If there is something you do not want to put in writing, book a Let's talk call. We will talk about it before the day.
I ask one thing of everyone before we start: what is said in the room stays in the room, and nobody gets to be wrong in it. That has been my rule since the first room I ever ran.
About me
I am a private adviser. Leaders, founders and senior professionals bring me the decisions they cannot take to anyone else.
I have been doing this work for more than twenty years, across over eighty nationalities and more than twenty industries, and I have been running private days like this since 2015.
Most decisions this size get half an hour at a time, squeezed in between everything else. This one gets a whole day.
I will tell you the truth, even when it is not what you want to hear. What you decide is still yours.
In their own words
“I was thinking about changing my job, but I wasn't convinced it was the right move. I felt that the change I was looking for would be internal, and not external. Andrea showed me a new life path and acted as my guide. For the first time I realised it is okay to focus on myself. I feel stronger, and I have much more self-respect.”
T.H.“For the last few years I had been convinced I could provide a service better than my employers, but I didn't have the experience or courage to start out on my own. Andrea made me see that I had everything I needed within myself. It's been nearly a year now since I started my own company and it is going very well.”
L.S.“I was getting really tired of all the well-intentioned advice from friends and family about how I should live my life. I felt like I needed to break out of the box that people thought was me. It gave me the tools I needed so much.”
Sarah“Every time I work with Andrea, I say out loud what I feel by intuition and am afraid to admit even to myself. The feeling of being lost is gone. I have goals and a timeline set up for what needs to be done.”
T.D.“Andrea is able to lead a person to her goal without using any kind of force. She leads me to the point where I suddenly get it, and it is usually a very simple truth, and even easier to use in real life. Because of Andrea I start to believe the world is not full of problems we have to overcome, but full of opportunities.”

- A questionnaire before the day, which I read myself.
- Your decision, your plan and your first move, written down and yours to take away.
- The Follow-Through. Four weeks in a WhatsApp group with me in it.
- The Closing Hour. An hour together at the end of those four weeks.
Your place in the room
A place in the room is £2,000.
Two dates left this year: Friday 23 October and Monday 23 November.
Book your placeHow you pay
You pay in full when you book. The calendar shows the day in your own time zone.
If you would rather talk to me first, book a Let's talk call. It is thirty minutes and it is free. You are not expected to book anything at the end of it.
The fee is not refundable. Paying in full is the first act of the commitment to yourself.
If, after reading your answers, I do not think this room is the right place for what you are bringing, I will tell you before the day and return your payment in full.
You can reschedule once, with at least seven days' notice, to another small-group day within three months, or to the first one after that if none is free.
If something serious happens, write to me.
Coming with friends
Some women book this day together with a friend or two. If neither date suits you all, write to me with the days that do and we will find one.
Questions
Can I talk to you before I book?
What if it does not help?
Beyond that, the day gives back what you put in. I lead the day, I ask the questions, I guide you through the steps and I tell you what I see. Your honesty and your full attention are what you bring. The work itself is yours.
